COVID-19

To reduce the risk and spread of Covid-19 we have completed an additional risk assessment specifically for Edward Bear.  This Risk Assessment is in addition to St Barnabas building risk assessment for opening-up the church for public worship.  The full Risk Assessment can be viewed here.

  • Adults are required to wear face coverings inside the Church (a face mask or face shield)
  • On entering the Church please sanitize your hands (sanitizer station in the church entrance).  Please be patient and wait for the family in front to move into the church before entering the church.
  • Adults need to maintain Social Distance, 2 metres where possible, from other households.
  • Edward Bear keeps a register of everyone who attends, this information may be passed to Track and Trace if requested.
  • Instead of singing we will be learning some spoken hand rhymes.
  • Refreshments will be served.  Biscuits will be individually wrapped.  No utensils will be shared.
  • Craft and food activities for the children will all be presented in individual packs.  Presently no sharing of resources.
  • Edward Bear toys are only used for Edward Bear, they will be quarantined after use.  Sanitizing wipes will be available to be used between playing.
  • The children will be able to ring the bell.  Good hand hygiene will be encouraged before and after ringing the bell.
  • When the weather permits we will meet outside in the Church ground.
